K SCHOOL · LEGAL
Terms of Service
Last updated: July 28, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of K School. By creating an account, purchasing a course, or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
K School provides digital Korean language and culture lessons, including lesson content, audio, quizzes, progress records, digital Student IDs, phrase cards, and completion features. Features and course content may evolve as we improve the service.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use K School. If the law where you live requires parental or guardian consent, you may use the service only with that consent. You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting access to your account, and notifying us of suspected unauthorized use.
3. Purchases and Course Access
Prices and the access included with a purchase are shown at checkout. Unless stated otherwise, course purchases are one-time payments for personal, non-transferable access. Lemon Squeezy acts as our merchant of record and processes checkout, payment, tax, receipts, and related payment administration.
Access may take a short time to activate after payment confirmation. If your access is not activated, contact korealab21@gmail.com using the email address used for your K School account and purchase.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
Refund requests are handled through Lemon Squeezy and are subject to the purchase terms presented at checkout and applicable consumer law. If you need help with a purchase, contact korealab21@gmail.com. When an order is refunded or reversed, access associated with that order may be removed.
5. Permitted Use
You may use K School only for personal, lawful learning. You may not:
- Share, sell, or transfer your account or paid access.
- Copy, redistribute, resell, scrape, or publicly reproduce course content.
- Circumvent access controls or attempt unauthorized access.
- Interfere with the service, its security, or other users.
- Use K School content to violate another person’s rights or applicable law.
6. Intellectual Property
K School and its lessons, designs, text, graphics, audio, badges, cards, and software are owned by K School or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your purchase gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the purchased course; it does not transfer ownership.
You may share downloadable phrase cards when the service expressly provides a sharing or download feature, provided you do not remove branding, sell the cards, or imply endorsement by K School.
7. Educational Disclaimer
Language usage varies by context, community, and time. K School provides educational guidance but does not guarantee fluency, particular learning results, or that every expression is appropriate in every situation.
8. Availability and Changes
We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. If a material change significantly affects paid access, we will take reasonable steps to notify affected users.
9. Suspension and Termination
We may restrict or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, misuse the service, create security or legal risk, or fail to pay required charges. You may stop using K School at any time and may request account deletion by contacting us.
10. Disclaimers and Liability
To the extent permitted by law, K School is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties that may legally be disclaimed. K School will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the service changes. Revised Terms will be posted here with an updated date. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.
